Prof. Yasushi Kiyoki

Keio University / Musashino University, Japan

Yasushi Kiyoki received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Keio University in 1978, 1980 and 1983, respectively. In 1983 and 1984, he worked at Electrical and Communication Labratory of NTT. From 1984 to 1996, he was with Institute of Information Sciences and Electronics, University of Tsukuba, as an assistant professor and then an associate professor. Since 1996, he has been with Department of Environmental Information at Keio University, where he is currently a professor. His research addresses multidatabase systems, knowledge base systems, semantic associative processing, and multimedia database systems. He serves as the chair on Special Interest Group of Database Systems and as the editor-in-chief on Transactions on Databases in Information Processing Society of Japan. He also serves as the program chair for the 7th International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications.

Prof. Dr. Virach Sornlertlamvanich

Thammasat University, Thailand

Prof. Dr. Virach Sornlertlamvanich received a doctoral degree in Computer Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1998. He worked with NEC Corporation as a sub-project leader for Thai language processing in the Multi-lingual Machine Translation Project. He joined the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) in 1992. His research interests are in the area of Natural Language Processing, Machine Translation, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. His recent efforts are on the research and development of technology for Digitized Thailand 2009 which is aimed to establish a service platform for digital content and applications to accomplish the creative industry. He is also a pioneer in establishing an AI research platform for Thammasat AI City 2020 at Rangsit Campus during 2020-2023.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shiori Sasaki

Musashino University, Japan

Shiori Sasaki is an associate professor of the Faculty of Data Science, Musashino University, Japan.

She received her M.A. degree in Law & Politics in 1998 and Ph. D. degree in Media and Governance in 2010 from Keio University. She had been a lecturer (2004-2007), a project assistant professor (2007-2014) and a project associate professor (2014-2022) of Global Environmental System Leaders program (GESL) adopted by Ministry of Education (MEXT) in Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University.

She is currently involved in several international research projects in the Faculty of Data Science, Musashino University. Her research interests include Knowledge base Creation, Multimedia Databases, Geographical Information Visualization, Cross-Cultural Communication and their application to the field of global environment analysis.
