International Electronics Symposium (IES) 2022 is one of the best  international conferences organized by Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS), Surabaya, Indonesia, and a technical co-sponsored IEEE conference. The 24th IES 2022 provides a good platform for researchers, scientists and the entire engineering community to meet each other and exchange ideas on electronic and computer-related fields, and their applications including research stimulation, the applications of electronic and information technologies, and the discussion to advance for region-wide cooperation in related disciplines.

Borobudur Temple

The Borobudur Temple Compounds is one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world, and was built in the 8th and 9th centuries AD during the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty. The monument is located in the Kedu Valley, in the southern part of Central Java, at the centre of the island of Java, Indonesia.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park

Mount Bromo is an active volcano in East Java offering magnificent viewpoints to take in the panoramic views and the changing hues of the sky at sunrise.

Baluran National Park

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

The impressive view from the top of the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, the challenging journey to its base via steep bamboo ladders, and the surrounding scenery make a perfect combo of adventure and sightseeing that will blow you away.

Madakaripura Waterfall

Leaving misty Mount Bromo behind and descending into the Probolinggo Regency, one will find a spectacular sight secluded within the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park: this is the enchanting Madakaripura Waterfall. Believed to be the final meditation place of military Commander-in-Chief, Gajah Mada, of the great Javanese kingdom of Majapahit in East Java, the towering waterfall is fondly dubbed the eternal waterfall.

Budha Tidur (Sleeping Buddha)

Maha Vihara Mojopahit is a temple located in Bejijong Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province. This temple was built on an area of 20,000 square meters with the main building in Javanese architectural style and a joglo roof. This temple was built in 1987 on the initiative of Bhante Viryanadi and was inaugurated on December 31, 1989 by Bhante Ashin Jinarakkhita and the Governor of East Java. At Maha Vihara Mojopahit, there is a statue of the Sleeping Buddha, which has now become one of Mojokerto’s tourist icons. This Gautama Buddha statue has a length of 22 meters, a width of 6 meters, and a height of 4.5 meters. This statue is the largest Buddha statue in Indonesia and the third largest in Southeast Asia.

Wringinlawang Gate

Wringinlawang Gate is a 14th century heritage gate of the Majapahit kingdom located in Jatipasar, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This building is located just south of the main road in Jatipasar.

Bajang Ratu Temple

Gapura Bajang Ratu or also known as Candi Bajang Ratu is a gate / temple heritage of Majapahit located in Temon Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This building is estimated to have been built in the 14th century and was one of the great gates of the golden age of Majapahit. According to the records of the Mojokerto Archaeological Heritage Preservation Agency, this temple / gate serves as the entrance for a sacred building to commemorate the death of King Jayanegara which in Negarakertagama is called “returning to the world of Vishnu” in 1250 Saka (circa 1328 AD).

Candi Tikus

Candi Tikus is a relic of a Hindu-style kingdom located in the Trowulan Complex, precisely in Dinuk hamlet, Temon Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. The name ‘Tikus’ is just a term used by local people. It is said that when it was found, the place where the temple was located was a rat’s nest.

Museum Empu Tantular

Mpu Tantular State Museum is a state museum located in Buduran sub-district, Sidoarjo, East Java. Initially, the museum was named the Stedelijk Historisch Museum Soerabaia, founded by Godfried von Faber in 1933 and inaugurated on July 25, 1937. Currently, the museum is managed by the Technical Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

International Electronics Symposium on Knowledge Creation and Intelligent Computing (IES-KCIC) 2022 has been registered in the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Additional Events

Workshop

There are two workshops to join in this event. The workshops aim to strengthen the knowledge and update the technology to enhance research capacity and capability. It will be delivered via panel discussion and a hands-on method.

Industrial Exhibition

The exhibition will engage industries and academia to strengthen the technology in industries and the teaching factory. There are numbers of industries who will join and share their latest technology to support their daily production.

E-Gov Summit

The summit contains of several activities, discussing the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) to support government public service and administration. There will be a few workshops and a poster session to participate. The potential participants come from government officers as well as academics, communities, and private sectors.

We cordially invite you to attend the IES-ETA 2022 and IES-KCIC 2022, which will be held in  Surabaya, Indonesia, on August 9-11, 2022. All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.

Papers in the technical program have to describe high-quality and original research. The full paper submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well coherent and balanced technical program. 

The accepted paper will be considered for publication in IEEE Xplore and Scopus indexing. The selected papers will be recommended for journal publication. High-quality papers will be nominated for “Best Paper Award”.
