Dr. Maël Addoum

ISART Digital Paris, France

Maël ADDOUM received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Lorraine University, Nancy, France, in 2018, focusing on optical medical image reconstruction algorithms for cancer diagnosis. He was then a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Physics of the 2 Infinites, Lyon, France, based on proton therapy. He is currently an Associate Professor at the ISART DIGITAL video games school in Paris, France, working on Computer Games, Interactive and Immersive technologies with a focus on Intelligent Virtual Agents, Affective Computing, and the Procedural Content Generation of games.

Dr. Norhaida Mohd Suaib

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Dr. Norhaida Mohd Suaib is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She began her academic career at UTM in 1995, following the completion of her undergraduate degree from the same institution. Dr. Norhaida furthered her studies by obtaining an MSc in Computer Graphics & Virtual Environment from the University of Hull, United Kingdom, and later earned a PhD in Computer Science from UTM.

With a specialization in computer graphics, particularly in interactive computer graphics and extended reality, Dr. Norhaida has taught numerous subjects related to computer graphics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is an active member of the UTM ViCubeLab Research Group, which focuses on Virtual Reality/Virtual Environment, Visualization and Computer Vision.

Dr. Norhaida’s current research interests include leveraging computer graphics, computer game and extended reality technology for the preservation of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. She has been involved in various research projects, including the Horizon 2020 MSCA-RISE AniAge Project, Pengembangan Nusantara Heritage Berbasis Media Reality project and various locally funded research. Her work continues to make significant contributions to the fields of computer graphics and extended reality.

Dr.-Ing. Hestiasari Rante

Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia

Hestiasari Rante has been a lecturer at Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS) since 2008. She earned her Doctorate in Computer Science with a specialization in Digital Media in Education from the University of Bremen, Germany, and has been actively involved in research and teaching in the field of multimedia.

As a Senior Member of IEEE, she collaborates with institutions in Indonesia and abroad to support research and innovation. Her work focuses on Human-Computer Interaction/Interaction Design for Immersive Technology (AR/VR), Game, and Movie-based Education. She also has a strong interest in cultural heritage research, exploring how immersive technology can be used to preserve and promote traditional arts and history. Since 2024, she has been a visiting scholar at the University of Clermont Auvergne, France, where she continues to develop her studies in immersive media and interactive learning as applied to robotics. Beyond research, since 2012, she has been a reviewer for journals, research grants, and scholarships.
