Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Abdul Halim Ismail

Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia

Abdul Halim Ismail is currently an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) serving at the Department of Mechatronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and Master of Science (Control and Automation Engineering) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), respectively in 2007 and 2010. In 2017, he was awarded the Doctor of Engineering specializing in robotics engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. His present research is on Wireless Positioning System utilizing Wi-Fi for mobile robots, image processing and pattern recognition as well as artificial intelligence for mobile robot applications. To-date, he has published more than 80 publications including in indexed and non-indexed journals, conference’s proceeding and book’s chapters. He’s also served as the Program Chair for the Mechatronic Engineering Programme at UniMAP for the term of 2020 – 2026.

Dr. Bima Sena Bayu Dewantara

Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia

Bima Sena Bayu Dewantara is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia. He received the B.Eng degree in Information Technology from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia, the M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and the Dr.Eng. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2004, 2010, and 2016, respectively. Currently, he works in the major field of autonomous intelligent systems which covers pattern recognition, computer vision, machine learning, signal processing, robotics system and human-machine interaction. Until now, he has published more than 46 international dan national journal papers and more than 80 international dan national paper proceedings. He received The Best Achievement Award from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2016 and also received some Best Paper Awards in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He is a member of IEEE.

Oskar Natan, Ph.D.

Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia

Oskar Natan received his BASc degree in Electronics Engineering and MEng degree in Electrical Engineering from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia, in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and his PhD (Eng) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2023. Since January 2020, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, initially as a Lecturer and currently as an Assistant Professor. He has served as a reviewer and technical program committee member for reputable journals and conferences. His research interests include sensor fusion, deep learning, and end-to-end systems for various applications. He is a member of IEEE, specifically the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society.
