Guidelines for Presenter

IES 2022 ZOOM LINK

IES 2022 will be held on a hybrid basis, that is on-site conference (physical presence) and an online option (virtual participation).

These guidelines explain how to do physical presentations at IES 2022.

  1. Participants will be asked to present their vaccination certificate OR a negative PCR/antigen test result at the registration desk.
  2. Please wear formal apparel during keynote speech session and all parallel sessions.
  3. Please prepare a PowerPoint presentation of no longer than 10-minute duration. You can use your own preference template with convenience

These guidelines explain how to do virtual presentations at IES 2022.

  1. Virtual presentations of IES 2022 will be held using ZOOM on August 9-11, 2022
  2. Please wear formal apparel during keynote speech session and all parallel sessions.
  3. Please prepare a PowerPoint presentation of no longer than 10-minute duration. You can use your own preference template with convenience
  4. Each presenter has to prepare a presentation video by following the instruction given in this link in case of bad connection occurs to keep the presentation on schedule.
  5. The moderator or committee will ensure the connection with the presenter in a ZOOM meeting rehearsal. We will inform it later by email.
  6. Please submit your PowerPoint file and video-file-URL to your edas account.
  7. The acceptable file format for presentation video is MP4 which can be recorded using Screencast-O-Matic, Webex, Zoom, PowerPoint 365, PowerPoint 2019, etc.
  8. In case of a very bad connection occurs, the IES committee will play the video presentation file during the scheduled session and at least one of the authors is kindly requested to be prepare for the Question-and-Answer session.

As participants of Keynote Speeches Session

  1. ZOOM Event will be opened 30 minutes before the event (08.00 Western Indonesia Time, Jakarta Time). Link to join will be sent through email.
  2. Participants are required to join the session using the following account name format:
    1. Room I/II/III/.. IES-ETA 1/2/3/.. Presenter Name, for example, Room I IES-ETA 1 Nu Rhahida Arini Or
    2. Room I/II/III/.. IES-KCIC 1/2/3/.. Presenter Name, for example, Room V IES-KCIC 1 Nu Rhahida Arini
  3. During the session, all participants will be MUTED (silent mode) by the host, except the resource person, moderator, and participants who are allowed by the moderator (during the discussion session).
  4. All questions can be submitted via the “chat room”, then the moderator will transmit the question to the keynote speaker.
