“From Local Insights towards Global Impact”: Global Environmental AI & Human-Action Integration Projects with Collaborative Experimental Activities for Environment Restoration

Abstract:
We continue to lead the forefront of industry-academia collaboration and international partnerships in pursuit of our ambitious vision: to contribute to the advancement of global AI research and the progress of humanity through collaboration with universities and research institutions across Japan, Asia, and Europe. Through partnerships with leading companies, we provide a dynamic environment where young people can tackle real-world challenges while still in school and develop into capable professionals.

This workshop will showcase our collaborative research ecosystem, as well as the educational programs of the faculty of International Data Science in Musashino University (MIDS) and our Environment-AI initiatives integrated with human activities. These projects encompass marine, mangrove, and forest conservation, biodiversity protection, and other sustainability efforts. The workshop will demonstrate how local insights can generate global impact.
